Finish the semester strong!
The week before Thanksgiving can be extremely stressful for college students. The semester is coming to an end and often time professors sneak in an extra exam right before finals. Major papers, presentations and projects are all due, it feels like, on the same week. Right after we come back from Thanksgiving there will be one or two more weeks of classes then finals.
What can you do to finish your semester strong? Try improving your memory.
Exercise will improve memory.
Recent human research shows an improvement in cognitive performance in participants who engaged in aerobic and resistance exercise. Research done on lab rats found an increase of a certain protein which supports the health of existing neurons and coaxes the creation of new brain cells. So before you pull an all-nighter, go run and lift weights for the health of your neurons.
