5 To-Do’s in the Middle of the College Semester
It’s the half way through the college semester and you have things you must do. Here’s your to-do list:
-
Make a list of each of your classes and find out your current grade for each class. Write this down so you can see all your classes and grades on one sheet of paper.
- How do you find out your current grade? The easiest way is to go ask your professor. This is a reasonable question. Each professor has their own way to figure out grades and it can get confusing. Asking your professor to help you understand how to figure out your grade shows that you are interested in staying on top of your learning progress for the semester.
- Find out when drop date is and put it on the calendar. I hope you won’t have to drop a class but if you find yourself in a situation where you are failing a class then Drop Date is a red letter day for you. Dropping a class is simply retreating now in order to come back to win another day. Protecting your GPA is a priority.
- Find out when registration is for next semester. This pesky date always creeps up early in the semester. Your goal is to have all your classes chosen and entered in your college registration website. When the date and time arrives for you to register you simply push the SUBMIT button.
- Look at your calendar and make sure ALL your assignments are on it. You must look at the rest of the semester to be ready for finals.
